Marina’s career spans IP-scale animation and independent movies. As a producer of the international hit animated series Masha and the Bear, Marina worked within a production ecosystem operating at $15M+ / year budgets and $250M+ in annual revenues, with dubbing into 50+ languages and distribution in 100+ countries. On the other end of the spectrum, she produced Give Me Liberty, a micro-budget indie movie that went on to be named one of the best films of the year by major outlets, including Washington Post, NYT, and NPR, and to win numerous festival and critical awards. These experiences showcase her ability to deliver ambitious, high-stakes content under real-world constraints and to think from the outset in terms of not only a single festival premiere but long-tail value and global reach.
Recipient of a prestigious NSF grant, Marina has built a track record in edtech and tech-driven storytelling, producing and co-developing projects like the Curibot, an interactive audio app, and Sci-World, an AI-enhanced educational tool for kids. These projects translate advanced science into clear, emotionally resonant narratives while integrating rapidly evolving, cutting-edge technology – bridging the gap between complex systems and everyday users.
